Cumberland Community Unit School District 77 on IL Rt. 121 between Greenup and Toledo. Unit #77 is composed of the elementary, middle and High School.
Cumberland Elementary School serves students from pre-kindergarten and kindergarten through the fifth grade. Daniel Huffman is principal of Cumberland Elementary. Stacey Keyser serves as principal for Cumberland Middle School which is attended by students grades six through eighth. The middle school’s activities include band, a chorus program, a student council, Scholastic Bowl team and Raiders sports programs.
Graduates spend their last years as Pirates at Cumberland High School, from grade nine through grade twelve. The principal of Cumberland High School is Kevin Maynard. The high school runs a series of clubs that range from FFA, National Honor Society, a varsity Scholastic Bowl team, a woodworking club, and don’t forget Cumberland Pirate sports.
